• Coach Cleveland- Personal Accomplishments: 2015 NM Track & Cross Country Coaches Association 6A Boys Track & Field Coach of the Year 6A, Former NCAA Division 1 Middle Distance and Cross Country Runner, Former Professional Triathlete/Duathlete- 6 years.  Coaching accomplishment include: 12 National Youth Club Cross Country (XC) team titles, 7 Youth Runner-up XC Teams, 7 Youth National Track and XC Champions, 111 Individual youth All- Americans, 1 High School Junior Team USA XC Qualifier  and 25 age group state track & field records. He is a USA Track & Field Certified Level 1 Coach.

Sessions are staged in small groups to encourage personal attention and plenty of feedback for all ages and ability levels.   

The mix of coaches is balanced between experienced high school coaches, professional trainers, and varsity athletes to encourage a variety of fun and interactive learning.

Sprints: Speed is a vital part of success in every sport.  During the 3-day camp athletes will be instructed in: sprint mechanics, sprinting drills, block starts, relay exchanges (if you are on a sprint team) acceleration and speed maintenance.

Mid-Distance/Distance: Campers will be instructed in the basics of distance running, taking their heart rate, training and racing strategies and keeping a training log and nutritional strategies specific to the distance runner

Jumps: Campers will have the opportunity to work with high level coaches and athletes in the high jump and long jump. The high jump approach will be broken down into simple learnable parts. The long jump will be covered start to landing.

Throws: The throws will be covered in detail. The discus and the shot put will be covered in great depth. Campers will be introduced to the javelin or turbo jav .
